THE BEARS ARE BACK
YEAR 2 IN ADA. This year Ada feels different. I am not living in founders 127, only knowing the two guys that live in founders 126 and my roommate of course. This year I know a lot of people on campus. Being involved in football and Delta Sigma Phi has given me a lot of opportunity to meet the people who make ONU so special.
Every semester, every week and every class is going to have its challenges. This semester is no exception. One of my biggest challenges is going to be my science class. To me chemistry in society sounds like a foreign language. What does chemistry in society even mean? I guess if I knew the answers to the questions I am asking myself I wouldn't be in Biggs 239 three days a week.
One of the new challenges I am excited for is principles of Social Media. I do not completely understand what I signed myself up for. However from what I do know the class looks very intriguing. I am especially excited for the podcasting project. I think a lot of college guys dream about becoming a famous podcaster like Joe Rogan or the Nelk Boys. I am a college guy who would love to be a full time podcaster and bring on famous people to have great conversations with.
A new school year is here whether I am ready or not. New challenges are on the way. I look forward to every obstacle that comes my way. I will be keeping all of my loyal readers updated on the life of me in the best place on earth Ada, Ohio.
I agree about science, my science class was a challenge for sure. I am happy to hear that your extra curriculars are bringing so many positives into your life. I have definitely meet the best people through mine and can't wait to continue that. I hope your second year in Ada is the best one yet!
ReplyDeleteHi, Cade! This sounds great you had a nice year 1. I haven’t spent a lot of time here but I’m excited to have a good time for a year as well. I hope you enjoy new year too.
ReplyDeleteHey Cade! This year is definitely going to be interesting. Everything feels new even coming from someone who's been here for 2 years already. So much can change in such a short period of time it's incredible. People truly make this place what it is today. We share a common family with Greek Life and neither of us would be who we are today without them. Home is where the heart is and you've found yours with the Delts. I can't wait to see your adventures pan out this year alongside us all. See you around!
ReplyDeleteHey Cade, your blog was interesting. By the end of your sophomore year you will know so many more people, that was my experience. I hope you the best with your studies this year!
ReplyDeleteSimilar to you, I have a science class this semester, which is my first since being here at ONU. As a business major it is a little out of my comfort zone, but I'm excited to step out a little bit and learn something new.
ReplyDeleteHey Cade, I agree that every year has its challenges, but without challenge, the end result wouldn't be worth it. I think that principles of social media will be a really interesting class to learn about!
