Your Twitter Can Have A Personality????
In class, we did a group project. One of the questions talked about goals of social media. This section really caught attention. It made me think about what your goals on social media should be. I only thought social media was used to generate sales and create a brand image. I never considered alternative goals for social media use. This lesson really opened my eyes to the potential platforms have.
For example, increasing interactions by a certain percentage can be a goal. The metric to track the effectiveness of a brand's strategy was something I did not even consider. Going forward, I will have a better understanding of how platforms are used to gain exposure and generate sales.
The idea of generating a brand personality has been brought up in a few different classes. This idea has been running through my head a lot lately. I think it is awesome when brands communicate with people on social media. Twitter is a war zone and I think it is a very good marketing strategy when companies interact with users whether it be positive or negative.
Generating goals that can be easily measured and creating a brand personality and sticking to it are great marketing tools. A brand personality is a great way to give your customers and potential customers a human aspect to the company
