Thinking about home

Leaving Ada last Friday and heading for home was a great feeling. I was so excited to see a lot of my friends home, The entire week I was hanging with them when I wasn't at family Thanksgiving. I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with them.

We had a great time hanging out and not worrying about school for the week. However, when Saturday game everything took a turn for the worse. My friends are diehard Ohio State fans. They spent most of the Saturday screaming at the TV watching "The Game". It was very annoying. None pf us go to Ohio State. Therefore, I do not understand their obsession with the game. I hope that they care that much about their own school's game as they do about this one. Maybe it is because I care a lot more about ONU footballs than any other colleges.

I personally could care less about college football. My happiness for the week is based on whether the Browns win or lose. I am happy to say that they did win this week. They beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in overtime. The game was crazy, and I am happy we pulled out the win. I am sorry for all my friends that wanted OSU to win. But, all that matters is the Browns pulled the win out.

  1. It isn't very often that Ohio State loses and the Browns win in the same weekend. With Deshaun Watson back this week do the Browns make a push to get into the playoffs? My roommate thinks so.

  2. I was excited to go home for break too! Being able to hang out with friends and family back home is such a great feeling. I watched the OSU game with some friends who were die hard Buckeyes fans too and they were not happy after that game. At least the Browns won :)

  3. I was very excited to go home for break too! I am amazed too at how invested people get in college football games. I think when your mood for the day is determined by the outcome of a game, you might be a little too caught up in it. There has to be a good balance between caring and getting too caught up in it. I am glad you had a fun Thanksgiving week home!
